Perfect Beach Bungalow
This little beach bungalow was perfect for the price and location. The hosts provided enough of the basics supplies and eqiupment to cover our needs for a week-long stay (coffee maker, filters, paper supplies, spices, basic cooking equipment, ect). The Hosts went out of their way to provide us with some addional extras since we were there for Thanksgiving (turkey roasting pan, aluminum foil, ect), which was a nice touch and appreciated. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The space heater came in handy for chilly mornings and there were box fans for in the afternoons or for white noise while sleeping. Great area, quiet, mostly residential with just enough restaurants/bars/retail/grocery nearby to not have to drive anywhere. Would recommend to others looking for somewhere affordable & local to Mission Beach and would stay there again.

A Lovely Visit
We had a lovely visit to our beloved Mission Beach. This property is right on a quiet sidewalk between houses on both sides rather than on a busy street. We only had one request of the host while we were there and they responded and took care of us within minutes.

Location is Amazing
2nd time weve stayed here and loved it both times. Ocean Sands is awesome to work with and the location is amazing. Hopefully be back next year for the third time.

Definitely Going Back to This Great Spot
Check in was easy. Walked into a sparkling clean place that smelled lovely. Great location since it’s right in the middle of either the bay side or beach side. Nearby neighbors were friendly and helpful (especially Vinny). Slept like a baby which was great since I’m used to a really firm mattress and this one was like sleeping on a cloud. My dogs absolutely loved it. Lots of walks and lots of loving from people on the walkways. We will definitely be going back to this great spot.

Relaxing Stay
Wonderful, relaxing stay. Home is squeaky clean in a quiet neighborhood. Onsite parking a plus. 2-minute drive to Washington St. Mall and the beach. Highly recommend

Amazing Location!
Amazing location! Restaurants, bars, laundromat, small grocery, beach and free parking all less than 2 minutes walk from condo. Communication was proactive on management’s part and prompt in reply. Would stay again!

Great Location!
Great location. Cute and clean place. Was pretty noisy on Saturday night because it's so close to a bar, but not enough to keep us awake. Thankful there is parking available in the nearby park. AC stopped working but they responded pretty quickly.

Super Cute!
This is a pretty simple little house with super cute decor, but the location can’t be beat. It’s the perfect little home base for the beach, marina, etc. within a block there’s breakfast, coffee, pizza, bars, Mexican food.

We Never Wanted to Leave!
Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. 2 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to the bay, lots of great local eateries and shopping. Management team was super accommodating and easy to deal with. We never wanted leave.

Great Location
This was a great quiet location. Quick walk to beach or bay. The neighbors are awesome, and it was very peaceful. To get anywhere you need was a quick drive. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions.

The location is spectacular!
If you’re looking for a location close to the beach, you can’t beat this place. The location is spectacular! It’s 467 ft from Mission Beach & the ocean and 365 ft from Mission Bay. It’s within walking distance from a number of rental places, restaurants/bars, and a surf school ($65/private 2.5 hour lesson - price decreases for more people in your group). Grocery store up the street and Belmont Park amusement park not too far away. For four of us (2 adult couples), it was great. Things you should know. This is a manufactured home, not a luxury hotel. There is a coffee bar just across the alley/walkway, as well as a spear fishing and free diving shop that rents gear and reaches lessons. They open early (6am) and you can hear the activity early in the morning from the front. There isn’t designated parking, which can be tricky, esp. on days with good weekend weather, but easy to figure out if you plan right. Despite this, the location was awesome and can’t be beat for the price!

Great location
We arrived the night of the non-hurricane Hillary. The place was neat and tidy. It’s small but serves our purposes well. Beach and bay time everyday. Walkable to restaurants and bike riding paths are so convenient as well as boat launch and parking was not a problem. We had a few minor issues from the weather but the responses were fast and were resolved asap. Friendly neighbors, good area and BBQ and porch chairs were appreciated. Allowing a dog was really helpful. All in all a great stay. I would return here again as it was one of the few places that we could afford. Bonus: There is a fantastic coffee cart right outside the front door. We were spoiled with delicious coffee and homemade empanadas everyday

Would Stay Here Again
The rental process was smooth. The owner/host was always very quick to respond to any questions. The home was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They had a lovely bag of waters and snacks when we arrived, which was really appreciated. We always had to park in a parking lot that was a bit of a walk from the property. It wasn’t an issue except when it came to loading and unloading for our arrival and departure. The location is great, it was a quick and easy walk to the bay or the ocean. There is a delicious coffee place right by the property. Overall, we would stay here again, we would just pack less since we had to walk a bit with our luggage.
