This ground-level retreat is within walking distance of the coffee shops and restaurants in Windansea as well as the La Jolla Village.
Enjoy sweeping ocean views from its waterfront terrace, the main bedroom, and the living room allow you to go to sleep and wake up to soothing ocean breezes and the ever-changing sounds of the surf. The terrace creates a beautiful space for indoor/outdoor living with its table and chairs for dining al fresco and comfortable lounge furniture. Tasteful beach décor throughout makes this seaside getaway a perfect place for relaxing, connecting, and recharging - starting with its large, spacious living room with slider access to the oceanfront patio, lots of comfortable seating, and its large TV. Cook and enjoy being together in the large well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar with high-top stools and a seamless flow to the living room and ocean view terrace. A comfortable, well-appointed dining room that seats everyone rounds out this spacious great room.
The ocean view primary suite is next to the living room. It opens up to a furnished terrace and has a TV and a full en suite bath with a shower/tub combination. There are two guest bedrooms in the front of this home – one has a Cal-King bed, a TV, and access to an adjacent fully remodeled bathroom with shower (photos in November). The other bedroom has a queen bed plus a twin bed, a TV, and access to another adjacent fully remodeled bathroom with shower (photos in November). Both of the guest bathrooms have been recently updated with new showers and flooring.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quiet groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. We do NOT allow Bachelorette or Bachelor Parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
This home has garage parking for one vehicle. Additional parking is available on the street.
The parking garage is equipped with surveillance cameras.

Absolute Perfect Beach Getaway for the Whole Family
We stayed at this stunning beach condo with our family of 6 adults and 2 children, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The home is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—every room felt like a retreat. The beds were especially cozy, and every detail throughout the house was clearly chosen with care. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from Windansea beach and minutes from other San Diego iconic beaches. The condo is so close to amazing restaurants and plenty of family-friendly activities. Whether we were enjoying the breathtaking ocean views from the house or exploring the local area, it was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The hosts were fantastic. They were kind, responsive, and made the entire process seamless from booking to check-out. Great Property!!
What a great property. Few bits of info missing on the check-in instructions, but the Property Manager called back in moments and took care of everything…. then checked the next day to make sure all was well. Nice little Thanksgiving basket on our arrival. Be aware the bed in primary suite is very very high (unable to use for grandma) and one of the bathroom doors swings the wrong way (easy fix). Location cannot be beat - right in between Birdrock and LJ Village - walk across street to beach. Spacious apartment and wonderful patio overlooking beach. Winter Retreat
This is our third visit to this property and it has become our winter favorite. We have stayed in the Windansea neighbor many times, but this is by far our property of choice. It is wonderfully located right on the Pacific and you can watch waves and the sunsets from the terrace. We are particularly pleased to be able to work with Penny Campbell and her team at Ocean Sands. They have been wonderfully concerned about our well-being and very response to every request.
